Privacy policy

This policy explains what information calculateswp.com (“we”, “us”) collects when you use the website, and how it is used. The short version: the calculator runs entirely in your browser and we do not collect the numbers you enter.

Information you enter into the calculators

All calculations happen on your device. Investment amounts, withdrawals, rates and other inputs are not sent to our servers. If you use Copy link, your inputs are placed in the page address so you can share them; anyone you share the link with can see those inputs.

Information stored on your device

We use your browser’s local storage for two conveniences:

• Theme: whether you chose light or dark mode.
• Saved scenarios: plans you save with “Save to compare”.

This data never leaves your device. You can delete it with “Clear all” in the calculator or by clearing your browser’s site data.

Server and hosting logs

Like every website, our hosting and content-delivery provider automatically processes technical data needed to deliver pages securely — such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. These logs are used for security, abuse prevention and reliability, and are kept only for as long as the provider needs them for those purposes.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages are useful. It sets cookies in your browser and sends Google usage data such as the pages you view, your approximate location, your device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. The calculator keeps your current plan in the page address so it can be shared or reloaded, and analytics records page addresses, so those plan figures may be included. They are not linked to your name or email. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy; you can opt out with Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.

Fonts and third parties

Fonts are self-hosted, so loading a page does not contact a font service. We do not use advertising networks or social-media pixels. If that changes, we will update this policy and, where the law requires, ask for your consent first.

Email

If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply, and keep the correspondence no longer than needed to handle your request.

Links to other websites

We link to other sites, including our sister calculators. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

Children

The site is intended for adults planning their finances and is not directed at children under 13.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act or US state privacy laws) you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. Because we hold almost none, most requests can be answered quickly — email contact@calculateswp.com.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
